When we lived in a small county seat town of 25,000, the jury pool was fairly small. I was called at least every four years. The judge had the sheriff's deputies lined up, and if someone didn't answer roll call the first day, he sent a deputy to fetch them.

If you live in California, they probably wouldn't give a shlt. I was summoned couple of years ago and I call, they never pick up the phone or call back. I showed up and the court room was never open case. Nobodywas there.

I try calling again and never. You probably don't have to deal with it in Cali since they don't give a damn...well it depends where you're at.

Fortunately I have a permanent release because of health issues. Only took a doctors note

I used to get that all the time too. I have polarizing views on justice, though, so neither side ever wanted me there casting doubt around the whole process.
