Pool party not allowed to go

lol I’ll be 30 in November. So my mom sabotaged my recovery in the beginning. She said she was managing my withdrawal but was giving me so much alcohol I ended up in the hospital. I quit drinking and I’m a year sober. Thing is, I got a new job and they’re inviting me to a pool party and there would be alcohol and weed. I don’t like weed and I’m trying to stay away from alcohol. I did tell my mom because she asked about the job and she told me I’m not going lol and that’s that. Like I’m almost 30 years old and she’s telling me I’m not allowed to go. Idc really just an example of how she seems to treat me like a child sometimes. I personally think for alcoholics, it would be better to learn how to drink responsibly rather than completely abstain forever. I know that’s an unpopular opinion
