If i ever get to the point of having to be in a nursing home someday someone shoot me

Never married no kids it's just me so if things go south when im 70+ and need to be put in one just end me. I'd rather die then go to one of those places sitting in a dirty diaper all day with bedsores.

I've heard this from my very healthy older brother. He is of sound mind and good physical health. He is a decent guy and for those of you that hate liberals, he's ultra conservative Christian.

I don't know how serious people are about this. But I personally think it should be discussed in advance the way some people sign advance directives or set up funeral plans in advance.

@Mindful I agree it should be discussed kind of like final wishes. I'm decently healthy and liberal but I've thought about it and why prolong my life if it will come down to being sick in a home
