If somebody said happy birthday to you out of nowhere or somebody you barely talk to

Would you feel good that they knew when it was and remembered or weird like "how did they know or remember that?"

In the 18 years I've lived here I've had 9 roommates, all of them women. I always send them Happy Birthday emails even after they leave. Only one has ever asked what my birthday is.
