I believe we have real free will, not a fully pre-scripted life. I do think there are things we’re born into or run into that shape us, like family, biology, timing, suffering, opportunity, and other people’s choices. But those things influence us, they do not erase our agency. So no, I don’t think life is just pre-destined in the sense that every outcome is fixed. I think we are accountable for what we choose within the reality we’ve been given.
