Im forty and still living with my Mom at the Moment... I've had my own place before though... But just recently got my email for my apartment I've been in the waiting list for and waiting for the next email cause it says your not supposed to call but I'm going over there next week if I don't hear anything by this Friday... But you just got to buckle down like I'm doing and get your money saved up (I don't even have a car I would rather have a place to live and be able to afford my rent... I'm gonna be walking to work everyday but I don't care) and go to work everyday even when you don't want to... That's what im doing...

My mum took all of my savings before I left and I did it anyway.
After I left, she still asked for money, and I sent it.
I was going to college and working a convenience store job across the country from her.
You have to push yourself. You have to struggle. You have to tell your landlord, I can't pay but I can xx/xx/xxxx

@caccoon Like I said, things were different back then. You can't understand how much more difficult it is for us now. One can "push" themselves all they like, but it's a rigged system. One designed to keep you down and enslaved, so you can be trodden upon.
But you won't agree because you still think it's like it was when you were coming up.
That was a long time ago when everything was different. You were lucky to come up then.
