Can panic attacks please not happen anymore? Pretty please with sugar on top.

I'm laying here in bed and next thing you know my hands and feet went ice cold, I felt jittery and sick and my heart speeds up. I sigh go to the bathroom my pupils are large and in charge. Just spent the last few minutes talking myself down. Don't even know what triggered it.

I don't get why it's called a panic attack. Isn't that a radom adrenaline rush or something like that?

@CrazyMusicLover Something like that

@separatetheheart I see similarities in physical reaction of the body but still, panic feels a bit differently to me. The feeling of reaching in the bag and not being able to find my wallet feels like a kick in my chest. Or when I recently tried contact lenses and for a while I felt panic that I might not be able to remove them.

What you describe sounds like what happens to me when I put my neck in the wrong position and don't fix it soon enough. I get really sick, get shaky, my heartrate goes up, start sweating, hot flush or chills, inner tremor etc. I'm not sure but isn't it just vagus nerve irritation? That would make sense to me. I never checked my pupils.

Now people I met who told me that they had a panic attack, they ended up on ER because their fear was so intense that they thought they were dying. I never experienced that fear and hope I never will. I just feel "poisoned" and like I might faint. I've always felt more fear with anxiety attacks than these adrenaline rushes or whatever they are.
