Ugh knowing that a lot of things like that have originated in racism, it's probably racist game.

@greensnacks I did not know that
@TheRealBarbossa I didn't either I just read about it. White caps played a the original/similar version of Hangman. And white caps were with pointy white hats (guess who else wears pointed white caps) and "cleaned" the American streets of immoral people.

"A version which incorporated hanging imagery was described in a 1902 article in The Philadelphia Inquirer, which stated that it was popular at "White Cap" parties where guests would wear "white peaked caps with masks"

Of course, they too like the kkk were racist.

@greensnacks yeah, once you said it was rooted in racism, I initially managed to fill in the blanks by logic alone.

Knowing the truth makes it even worse.
@TheRealBarbossa I like knowing and finding out things like this. It speaks of how widespread it was/is and how rooted in cultures is.

@greensnacks I absolutely agree with you, even if it ruins childhood memories for me.

My childhood memories are nothing compared to the history of slavery and racism. Truth before comfort every time!
@TheRealBarbossa Pantera, your cat, not the band, would be proud of you
