If you were gonna bring a friend or a new date to meet your family what advice and tips would you give about them

I’m not sure I would bring a new friend or a date to meet my family unless we saw them while out. Friends, coworkers and dates have come round when I’m living at my parents house but it’s almost always when my parents are not there or I just invite them in for a coffee and they sit in my private living space. My mum is my best friend and my parents are welcoming to my oldest friends so I don’t think I could say much about my parents to new people in my life.

No one will ever meet my family

I would tell them to wait in the car until I show up in 2 hours with a plate of leftovers in hand.
