The main reason I broke up with my first serious boyfriend

I was still in college, he was an intern. We movid in together for some readon. We didn't have the money to pay our rent, much less groceries.


One day we went to a cafe with gis best friend. My boyfriend told the friend he was gonna get a playstation the mext time he got paid, then buy one game per paycheck after that.
He never even mentioned this to me. We were both starving.

Shortly after, after having thought about our future and his priorities, I decided to end the relationship. He tried getting me back by asking "would it help if we got engaged?" No! Ofc not!


Some people *hark my mom who thinks I'm worthless hark* think I overreacted.
