Just wondering

I bought my weed from a dispensary and I hallucinated on it, thought nothing was real, freaked the fuck out most of the times I smoked it. I’m wondering if it’s likely a dispensary would lace weed? I have tried natural weed before but felt nothing from it. My issue was I felt if I took one puff I felt nothing and 2 nothing then 3 and hallucinating like it was that quick
