Not really. Because if you get someone in there that you don't like you may not be able to get them out even with the police. But if you're going to, I think it would be okay as long as you make sure you have references first and check them out before you say okay and just tell them you're taking applications. I would rent to an older person if I were you. Make out an application they can fill out even one page with all their information on it and references. Their place of work etc and then you better have a contract with rules on it and have them sign it. I'm telling you you better do it for your own good. That's the only way to do it. Even if it's just one page. I wouldn't allow smoking or drinking. If you could do a background check.

@LadyGrace and a lot of time they are looking for someone who has paid the deposits etc and just want an easy way to move it. So many are being evicted due to not paying their rent that if you don’t know someone really well and how they manage their money you could get stuck with a problem.
