I've decided once my lease is up in march to snag that house.

I've been talking to the landlord there and upon doing the math myself I will be saving a few hundred bucks moving to a rougher neighborhood. I checked the area out it doesn't look that bad. I saw lots of nice older brick homes and there's a real nice large park nearby that looks neat. Honestly I think I'll be alright. That money saved will help me a lot financially and I think this will be the right move.
