Random. I love strawberries 🍓 lol
Also on the same note as yours,
to me some words ‘taste’ a certain way. It’s called synesthesia

@Nunki Oh, I have that too, except I taste color.
Some things are obvious, like chocolate taste brown, strawberries taste red etc.
But blueberries taste green/purple.
Rhubarb soup tastes a mixture of green, blue, and yellow.
My oldest sister has the same thing, so when I tell her, for example, "I crave something pink" she immediately knows I mean yellow apples, raspberries, watermelon etc. Basically, something fruity.

That’s interesting. Mine is erratic and specific af. For example “sky” tastes like wafer. “Very” tastes like….plum 🫣
I’ve had it since childhood but when I was little such associations were stronger

@Nunki It's very interresting learning about someones synthesthesia, especially when it's different than mine.
I wonder... When you taste a word, what color would that taste be for me?
In other words: with cooperation, what color would your words taste like?
Sky = wafers = static from the telly
Very = plum = purple

You tell me 😛 what color is sky or…wafer.
If I have to guess it’s either blue or.. beige for you
I associate numbers with colors.
Edit: oh wow I didn’t expect that for sky
But plum makes sense to my mind

@Nunki I told you in my previous comment.
Colors have numbers in my little world too.
Purple = 7
Green = 3
Yellow = 4

Yup, saw your edit ✍
So I edited my reply as well
Mine is more like a range.
1-5 is white/yellow like the sun
7-6 is medium blue like the afternoon sky
8-13 is orange like the sunset
14-16 is dark green and dim blue like a vague background of a park at night
17-24 is white/yellow again
25-26 is blue again
I could go on

@Nunki For me each number 0 - 9 has different colors.
Each double digit number has a variant of the color of the first digit.
The higher the number, the more specific the color.
Example:
2 = red
22 = blood red
