This happened to me once. I started moving away from the kid and waited for her parents to come and take her. It was both cute and confusing because who lets their toddler to roam freely and pick a random stranger to hang around?

@SomeMichGuy My mother encountered one kid like that before Christmas, she took him by the hand and led to people who she assumed were his parents. She asked if it was their kid to be sure and told them that they were lucky that the kid met her and not someone with bad intentions. Then she went away but minutes later she realized that the whole situation was weird, the kid's reaction was weird and started wondering if they really were the kid's parents. 😬
