I mentioned that my dad was always quick to choose physical discipline as a kid and my messages went crazy.. what in the world? I was explaining why I was no contact with my side of the family and thats all some people got from that.

There are some users who pore over the feed looking for posts that they can interpret in a fetishistic way. I have been received those kinds of messages as well

But there are plenty of people here who are not that way. And often, you will see people making posts that are parodies of the "obsessive" crowd

At any rate, I am sorry that you had such negative experiences that you decided to cut ties with your family. That had to be painful.
