Well it's a place where some of the Vikings came from...
It has a good national wealth fund from the profits of it's oil and natural gas industry..
It's a rich country..
It has a coast line with many fjords and it's coastal waters are very rich in food for fish..
It's people are a bit socially standoffish / conservative.. Politically they are on the more liberal / woke side of things..
They eat a lot of fast food like Pizza..
They pay very high taxes because of their big welfare spending.. Seems contradictory being a rich country and having a big welfare budget but thats what seems to be happening..
And in regards to the taxes: we pay a relatively high amount of taxes, but in return we get free ambulances, free health care after paying approximately 300 usd in medical bills (that includes alot of medication) and free hospital stays / surgeries.
I'd rather pay more taxes than be worried about having an accident I couldn't afford.
@TheRealBarbossa If you actually get adequate care for the taxes you pay and the system works then it's great. But in corrupted countries half or even more of what you pay goes to greedy parasitic politicians and their families and friends who then buy multiple properties and build their vilas somewhere in the warm coastal areas.
My country loves nitpicking and degrading other countries in any way they can but Norway has never been one of them, that says alot to me : ))) It looks so quiet and peaceful
@TheRealBarbossa I would love that so much. I’ve always wanted to visit ever since that day you were telling me about the undersea tunnels. It sounds so fascinating and naturally beautiful there
@Degbeme they sound more interresting than they are. The graves are covered in small rocks, and that's all you see. But it's cool knowing there are buried vikings underneath.
