This is the time of year all the people who never go out wander out to the stores. Bringing along the whole family, including undisciplined kids

Last nite I was at the store picking up a few things. I could hear someone walking directly behind me, literally stepping on my heels. I turned around and there is this kid who was probably about ten years old. I smiled at him and then I looked at his dad, who acted a tad alarmed. I just stared at him. He wouldnt look in my direction. As a father of four kids, I do realize that kids will be kids. And its not the kids fault, its the bozo of a parent who has no idea how to supervise a child. I gotta do better about getting my shopping done way before the week before Christmas. LOL

Oh I agree. Last night I was in a restaurant and a two year old would not stop yelling and being really loud. The adults would say Shhh like once every ten minutes but I'm thinking, if a kid is yelling loudly in a place, why not bring some crayons, paper or even put a fun cartoon on your phone?? 😶 They really do respond to how the adult behaves.
@Coralmist yeah, crayons, games, I pad, honestly, it doesnt matter as long as Junior shuts up and lets people eat in peace. LOL

@MayorOfCrushtown Ya I mean the kid was so cute but they were standing in the booth .. could've fallen over , towards my area at any time. I was in an area on the next level down. I thought if they had a toy or game I'm sure they'd calm down a bit. But it's up to adult to engage that. Just like that dad should've pulled his child back, that's decency
@Coralmist im always amazed when i go into the stores and see kids standing up in the top of the cart. parents be talking on the phone or looking at blenders or some shit. be like....... ummmmm........ just waiting for the kid to do a nose dive into the floor. but, God forbid anybody say anything. When I did security at Target, it was a fairly common occurrence for kids to end up hurt. and then the parents go........ i have no idea how that happened. Becky....... its because you werent watching them. 🙄

@MayorOfCrushtown I feel so bad about kids like that. I did hear this kids mom say, do you want to fall? You'd get hurt. And I saw the kid look down. But then they just stayed standing ..😑. Sometimes you have to take the kid and sit them down.
Wow I can imagine what you saw at Target. That reminds me of years ago I worked at Old Navy and this toddler was standing in the cart, and was pulling at some shirts hanging up. The mom was looking away for like two minutes straight, and I kept looking back at the kid. Thank God I did, the whole cart began to flip forward and I ran and caught the kid and cart. The mom was like oh wow thank you. I was thinking, yeahhhhh now you sit your kid DOWN!!!!!😩
