I ended up calling off today from work because I'm just so drained.

I feel guilty and have felt guilty all day long. I just couldn't do it my body hurt too bad and I was too tired to move. I did eventually get up and moving but I'm still so tired. No amount of sleep is making much of a difference.

Yeah, don't worry about it, cause you're not the only one doing it. Believe me.

@Levenrack I just have a ton of anxiety about calling off because at a former job I was given such grief for calling out sick. My boss accused me of faking being sick and that my coughing was theatrical and forced even though the rattling in my lungs was obvious. I threw up from coughing one day multiple times and he kept me working. Ever since that job and dealing with him I have crazy anxiety about calling out. I've also been sick a lot this year and have had to call out a bunch as a result so I'm extra paranoid.

@separatetheheart Was your previous boss also the HR department and basically had full autonomy over you? If yes, then I can see why you'd have anxiety issues with that.

As long as you were seeing your PCP when needed and everything is documented/done properly within company guidelines. You should be okay.
