What are those pannetone cakes and why do they look so damn dry?

I see them for sale at the store and the picture makes them look so dry

Good quality panettones are never dry.
On the opposite, best ones have some honey in their recipes to enssure this.
They aren´t as humid as (good quality) christollens but no, no dry at all.
