What do you think would be "useless" to study or major in in college?

I have a B.A. in English Lit. I spent my whole working life in restaurants and retail. Most I ever made was $10.10 an hour and it took me 12 years to get there from $5.

No knowledge is useless. That doesn't mean it has monetary value. So if you view college as an investment with an expected return, then quite a lot of them will not get you a high paying job in your field of study.
