Haha me rambling
I feel like I got a sorta.. I wouldn’t say rude, but idk the word really. Maybe annoyed response from my caseworker.
She called me Monday, she told me she’d either call me later that day or Tuesday and that she was sorry. She’d been out for 8 days after being really sick. Appendicitis.
So I was like oh hell, don’t worry. I hope you’re okay. Wow. You know stuff like that.
So Monday went. Nothing. Tuesday went by too. Nothing. Wednesday I had a court date and Thursday I had an appointment that was far away. I texted and left a voicemail saying those days would be hard for me. I was nice and said I hope you’re ok. Also I ended up getting very sick so I warned her about that after what she went through.
Nothing until Friday.
Her: hello?
Me: hi how are you?
Her: I’m ok, you?
Me: I’m fine.. yes I thought we were meeting like four days ago. I just was wondering if something happened.
Her: well you said you were sick so I figured you didn’t want me coming over there
Me: yea, I didn’t want you to get sick after what you went through
Her tone was very flat. I just felt she was mad at me. Like in that time frame I pissed her off. It just reminds me of my ex how I’m always misunderstood.
Idk usually she’s just different and she was on Monday. So I feel awkward. And tired of having to guess. Like my ex is still bitching about me not noticing a phone number change fast enough. That I put no effort in. But I’m really just busy. and I’m sorry that hurts
