I love Labyrinth. my trauma movie as a kid was Nightmare on Elm street,. I still can't watch it because of that. even though as an adult, I know how cheesy that movie is now.

IMO the deeper horror type is psychological horror. Not the obvious scare, chase/blood and guts type.
I loved it for its spookiness.
And cleverness.
