I asked my son what horror movie he wanted to watch with me and he said The Labyrinth.

I told him it's not a horror movie and he said it scared the shit out of him as a little kid when I would watch it. I just had a crush on David Bowie, and loved the movie as a child of the 80's. I didn't realize I was traumatizing my child by watching it. We got a good laugh out of this but funny the things you don't think of as scary someone else does. I guess if you really think about it an androgenous dude in way too tight tights stealing a baby to turn into a goblin and trying to gaslight a girl into giving up her brother by dancing with her at a ball is pretty horrific...

I love Labyrinth. my trauma movie as a kid was Nightmare on Elm street,. I still can't watch it because of that. even though as an adult, I know how cheesy that movie is now.
