@FlowerPetal I think most of them outgrew it. I know one did. After I retired from there I got a job as a greeter at Walmart. She would come in sometimes. She told me she had gotten married, had a baby and was a manager at a 7-11 store. That’s a lot of responsibility for her to have. She seemed more respectful.

@cherokeepatti I have noticed for years that when a rank and file wager gets into supervisory positions being groomed for management, and more responsibility, their tunes change, fast; they quickly realize they would fire their old selves in a heartbeat.

@ScreamingFox I worked with a 22 year old when I was 27 and here came some dude who was maybe 24 and called our supervisor who was 34 old. My 22 year old colleague wanted to slap him. 😂 I was weirded out too, tbh. She didn't even look 34.

@FlowerPetal I was spending time with my godson, a couple of days ago. On the mantle I have a picture, holding him at a couple of months old. I was about 43 then.

Saturday, there he was, eating supper at the table, all 6’2" of him now. He’ll be 22 this year.

That happened so fast.😵‍💫
