It keeps happening too. I'm getting treated like an old lady by the 20 somethings I work with. I remember treating people that way too 😂 I tried to stay cool

@ScreamingFox Most of the young ones (girls) were bad about that stuff when I was working at the university. It’s like they thought they’d never grow older or something.

@cherokeepatti I remember being annoyed by older women when I was younger. Mostly my mother lol it shouldn't get out of hand though 😔

@ScreamingFox well we would be sitting together at lunch break and have a normal conversation that older women would have and watch some of the roll their eyes. Some of the were whiners at work too, complaining about being bored. Just meant they weren’t working hard enough.
@cherokeepatti When I was a supervisor at the truck stop east of Reno, whenever I heard an employee complain they were bored I'd make fhem do inventory, and dust the shelves while they were doing so.

@NativePortlander1970 yeah makes the time go by faster too doesn’t it? I never minded doing such things.
@cherokeepatti They never complained around me anymore

@cherokeepatti they're mean. I'm sorry

@FlowerPetal I think most of them outgrew it. I know one did. After I retired from there I got a job as a greeter at Walmart. She would come in sometimes. She told me she had gotten married, had a baby and was a manager at a 7-11 store. That’s a lot of responsibility for her to have. She seemed more respectful.
@cherokeepatti I have noticed for years that when a rank and file wager gets into supervisory positions being groomed for management, and more responsibility, their tunes change, fast; they quickly realize they would fire their old selves in a heartbeat.
