Random memory unlocked
A few years ago my sister and I went to the local pizzaria for dinner, and some guy was there with his 3 very young children.
They had all ordered the most expensive thing on the menu (about 25usd pr plate) aswell as one bottle of soda each (3,50 usd pr bottle. No refills)
When going to pay the bill, he then had the audacity to start an argument with the owner of said pizzaria bc the owner wouldn't give him a discount. The father shouted at the owner that "I only brought them here because I can't afford to buy actual food for them!"
It escalated into a physical fight and cops had to be called.
Poor kids just sat there watching their dad get handcuffed as if it was their average tuesday.
Apparantly this guy had been a repeat offender, doing this in all of the local diners, restaurants, cafés, and pizzarias.
He genuinely thought taking the kids out to eat the weekends he had them would be cheaper than buying ingredients and actually cook for them.
