I had a random flashback to a time I came home after soccer practice in high school

And there were a bunch of cops and yellow caution tape blocking off my house.
I had no idea what was going on or if my family was ok and the cops kept telling me to step back.
It turned out some kids had shot another kid in the leg right in front of the house just to take his scooter

It was a heck of an emotional ride. I hope that kids leg healed up alright
