Measure yourself gently, be fair but not harsh. Be moderate but not a monk. Goals should be definable and achievable, set small ones each day. Breathe in, breathe out, repeat as needed!
That feeling is a common one for twenty-somethings and even beyond. I feel it even at 48.
Advice wise is try not to want to go too fast in life. Slow down every once in a while and just savor where you are because you’ll never be this young again. Ferris was right.
You’re still very young. When I was in my 20s, I thought 50 was old now here I am 51 and I don’t think it’s old. But won’t be able to say that when I’m 60. But anyway, basically saying you’re young yet. Just remember to make good decisions.
@Jonjdw sometimes I wonder if I should’ve stayed with him but I’ve been told “if he can hit you he will unalive you” it’s true but it’s a bitter pill to swallow knowing that
Life is not a race. The process is the most important part of life. Do what gives you joy and meaning. Take care of yourself; take care of others (ie do not harm yourself to help others... draining yourself).

Health. Adopt a healthy lifestyle, readjust your priorities to accomodate this
Education. College degrees in the right areas are money makers. Don’t try to reinvent the wheel, just grow your brain. The trades are also very lucrative if you can do physical labor
Relationships. If you have a good one keep it. If it is a source of stress or drama…go solo while getting smarter and healthier.
Goals. Sert goals for every aspect of your life, strive to achieve them, then make new ones. Life is ever flowing, don't let it stagnate.
@TexChik I live a very healthy lifestyle I do have issues with eating and have to force myself a lot of the times just to eat but working on it. I have thought about going back to school but I work 70+ hour weeks between several jobs as well as being a newly divorced mom of 5 and managing all of their schedules. I barely have time to sleep…
Get off social media and quit comparing yourself to others. Always reach to achieve your highest good. Remember life has an expiration date and it passes quickly. Do not live a selfish life but live for the benefit of others and you will see you are as far along as you are supposed to be. For you are not in a race you are simply who you are supposed to be.
@FreeSpirit1 But what’s crazy is you have to use them in order to build up good credit that’s used for nearly any big purchase in life. Using responsibly is the key, but so hard for too many.
