Is there some reason I had to stop growing at 5'7? Pulling out a step stool isn't exactly cool you know

I'm 5'5". Us short guys have to work harder than taller people, but there are rewards. For many years I've exercised everyday; weightlifting, karate, cycling, fencing, archery, swimming, etc. I educated myself in various subjects so as not to be an uneducated dolt.

Also, I do have a compensation for being short. Women have expressed surprise. Ah hem
