Why do they give you insane amounts of food at Chinese restaurants?

I ordered an orange chicken combination plate three days ago and I'm still eating off of it. Not sure if I just eat like a bird or if the portions are just that ginormous.

Careful. Chinese restaurants are known for serving frog but calling it chicken.
