Why do they give you insane amounts of food at Chinese restaurants?

I ordered an orange chicken combination plate three days ago and I'm still eating off of it. Not sure if I just eat like a bird or if the portions are just that ginormous.

@separatetheheart In certain places in the orient, Thailand is one of them, they charge by a set of poles that you must pass through. The smaller the width the less they charge. The smallest width set being free! 🤣

@separatetheheart Oh it is. Yet Thailand isn't really a democratic country. Lots of corruption in Thailand.
