If you ever got covid during its peak or at all does it feel anything like a regular cold?

I’ve had it twice with last summer being the most recent. The first bout was like a three day cold. I just felt tired for the most part. Last year I just felt unwell for about a day. I’ve definitely had colds that were worse. I was able to workout without issue every day.

My wife caught it from me both times. She was pretty knocked out for three days both times. She’s a nurse and thus has had multiple vaccinations. I’ve just had the initial two. I won’t re-vax simply because it didn’t hit me that hard at all.

I do respect that others are affected much more. My wife is in long term care. She’s seen quite a few die as a direct result. It’s quite sad to hear some of the stories of the nurses in full ppe hearing bones crack as they try to do chest compressions in attempts to save an elderly person. I couldn’t do that for a living. That’s for sure. Too much death. 🫤
Its been different each time, but it's the recovery that's messed me up the most. Almost 6 weeks and Im still not over the last lot.

When I got it it was like a three day chest cold. I was fucked up for a little bit but mainly at night when all the mucus would settle in but once I coughed it up and shit during the day and got going I felt pretty good I beat it with vitamin D vitamin B3 and cod liver oil with plenty of hydration. How hard it actually hits you depends on pre-existing conditions and also depends on your makeup. Some more vulnerable people like very elderly or very young or those who are already sick or predisposed to sickness get it much worse. So in reality it's kind of like a virus that targets the sick
I had it ..
It felt like it was slightly worse than flu

I had it a few times. The first was the worst and was like a bad flu.

Not even regular cold feels like a regular cold after Covid. The immune system is just messed up and overreactive.
