If somebody gave you some criticism would you take it as advice or them just talking crazy

I'd consider the source their motivation, weigh that against what I know to be true and decide if it's advice or bs. If I decided it's genuine advice, I'd possibly consider taking it or not.

It depends on if it was valid and how they delivered it or not otherwise it just come off as hot air
