I was told it was weird that I'm nearly 50 and have zero kids. How is that weird? Wouldn't that be a bonus or a positive

A lady I was talking to said it was weird. Personally wouldn't that be a bonus in dating someone? No ex to deal with or kids that might give you a hard time. Kids are just something that never came to be in my life. I don't hate kids but it just never happened and in a way I'm glad because given my past no way would I have been a good parent.

i find it annoying how some/most people seem to think having kids is some kind of mandatory goal in life. newsflash: you can be happy and successful WITHOUT having kids. if you have or want kids then great, good for you…. but i’ve never wanted them and won’t be pressured into doing so because apparently it’s “the norm”. i like to be able to do what i want when i want. i like my money to be my own money. that all stops when kids come into the mix.

@Strongtea Selfish to whom? The child she didn't conceive and bear? It does not exist. The government, for depriving it of one future taxpayer? Family, who want a grandchild, niece, nephew? Please explain.

@Strongtea …i still don’t see your point 😂
@Strongtea There are enough people on the planet. We don't need any more. She can do whatever she wants without it being selfish.
