I caught a very long time friend smoking crack in my bathroom, it ended bad for him. But I can say he stopped and we are back at being friends again

@Lilnonames My bff in Denver is a bad crack addict, she's high from the moment she wakes up until she passes out maybe two or three days later, sleeps about 24 hours, then starts allnover again, she also has bad chronic seizures from a head injury. Watching her high is like watching a zombie pace all over the place between hits on her pipe, and the smell is a hard to describe sickly sweet one. She currently sleeps in a small run down 1970's era travel trailer and prostitutes herself for crack money. She was not like this when I met and befriended her when we both worked at McDonald's in 2015, she was clean and sober, but on a road trip with her to Denver in July 2015 because I was afraid she'd have a seizure on the drive there, we went so she could visit family, but she stayed high almost the entire time, including the first night in the motel room, she started smoking it while I was in the shower. Looking back I should have taken a greyhound back to iowa right then and there. After we got back to iowa a week later I went no contact with her for three months.

@Lilnonames omg thats horrifying. Im glad that they quit.

@NativePortlander1970 i would have to distance myself from someone like that. The stress alone of wondering if they will kill over and OD alone is not worth it. If a person has stress in their life its a deal breaker for me. Because their stress becomes my stress. And drug addicts will steal anything that isnt nailed down so no thanks. I would have cut them off the moment i found out they were doing drugs.

@AngelUnforgiven helped him
@AngelUnforgiven Sometimes that's the worst thing you can do to an addict, staying friends lets them know someone who truly loves and cares for them will be around during days they're sober to help them when needed.

@Lilnonames he and his wife cookin buyin thankgiving
@Lilnonames Sometime You do what You have to, however she grew up on the streets and is a brawler, even in my prime I wouldn't have tried to go against her. She's very sweet and caring for the most part, but when someone pisses her off, they soon find out they should have stayed on her good side.
@Lilnonames Sounds like it's gonna be a nice turkey day for You all :)
