are you doing them a favor by telling them the world should love them just the way they are ??? are we helping them jump into an early grave by telling them everything is gonna be okay ??

I mean, I ain't his parent. As a friend I could give some observations if he is open to it but honestly it's his life. And if he was a good friend, I'd respect that and love him irregardless.
