[media=https://youtu.be/G23iLGhh9lo]I really hate this time of day it's around the time of day he would be getting off work when he wasn't on night shift and I would be excitedly waiting to hear him pull up with his music blasting and I would stand at the door waiting just watching him and he would look over and see me and would have the biggest smile on his face

I'm very sorry to hear about your tragic loss. Sometimes I don't think anyone can say anything that will make it better. But consider that you are not alone. Many have gone through similar experiences. The wife in a couple I have known for over 50 years passed away last fall. Almost a year ago. Her husband is adapting but it takes time. You will get there and it will get easier and better. My only suggestion would be to avoid staying alone a lot. Perhaps get out an volunteer and maybe help others less fortunate. Either way, good luck to you! :)
