Any SWeeps who have been to a rural US State, or have been in a small “country” town, do you REALLY see night skies like these? I’m only used to big cities with light pollution. 😔

Better than that even. The night sky crossing the border from Colorado into Wyoming is better. You're around 6,000 feet there and away from everything.
The biggest town there is around population 3! Rockport Colorado.
The altitude makes a huge difference! Plus the added benefits of being away from all the lights.
