It's okay to be harsh on yourself

Everyone keeps saying, "Don't be so hard or yourself" but no, you're allowed to be hard on yourself. That's a way to reflect and figure out what went wrong, why it went wrong, how much you were responsible, and if you can do anything about it. So don't be afraid, beat yourself up (mentally) on occasion, it might just be the kickstart you need.
I would add that it’s a normal process of maturity and growth. But for it to be a useful tool you must also know how to pick yourself up not just beat yourself up. This tool is not for the weary.
Just be sure that it doesn’t become toxic. I’m the opposite and never give myself credit for all the good I do. It’s important to balance it out.

{@oliviatheboxer25] nah no need too be hard on yourself would of been a genuine bad judgement . nobody is perfect this is an opportunity not to make the same mistake again sort of lesson learned

clouds my mind
reminding
all the wrongs
blaming
and berating
bullying
and bossing
so much time goes
listening
to his woes
but I have to
you see
because
the menace
is me
