If it is aliens and they're bothered by having their whatevers shot down, we'd already all be dead. A civilisation that can travel interstellar distances can channel such humongous quantities of energy that even the craters we leave behind would get vaporised.
So either they're not bothered, or they're not aliens :P
@revenant We mark celebratory events with them all the time. So if they've studied human society (or at least those in contemporary north america), they might well think it would be seen positively!
It’s just weird to me how the balloon was figured out and shared. These other objects are somehow mysterious? We know nothing yet? And why shoot first without any information? Even if they’re worried about air travel, they suddenly have less technology than google earth?
It doesn’t make sense. Have any civilians seen these things?
@AlchemyFox it is strange. I'm on the lines of thinking the big balloon was the mother ship and the little ones were being controlled by it. Just like the movie independence day.

Hmmmm put other things in that aswell as loads of things are hoaxes but if u do ur own research you can find the truth although they like to hide the real info so the dumb stay dumb 🤷🏼♀️
Climate is another one and yep so is 9/11 and they put blame on certain people to make people go against one another
