16 hours round trip

She wants to come back to go to my oncologist appointment with me. It's just a follow up so I'll probably (hopefully) only see the doctor for like five minutes. My heart loves the gesture but my brain wants to ask her what the hell is wrong with her. I told her it's a waste of time but she won't listen to reason. She'd better learn to embrace sarah logic sooner rather than later. 🤨

My husband had been diagnosed with a brain tumor on Sunday, they operated to remove the tumor Monday morning and I was by his bed when he woke up.

He said, "You don't have to come see me here. We can stay in touch by phone."

I said, "Have we met?"

It's a difference in style and don't kid yourself. She loves you, but don't expect her to buy into Sarah-logic.

@Mamapolo2016 I'm sorry to hear about his diagnosis. Cancer is hard on everyone, including loved ones. Hopefully the surgery was a success and he has a speedy recovery 🤗

@Mamapolo2016 I'm doing well. I'm in the one to two year window when relapse is most common but so far everything is good.
