My favorite sales pitches are the email ones

"This knife, worth over $100, well, I'm giving it to you for free! No strings, no catches, free!"

*checks webpage and sees $14.95 s&h*

"No, this knife is worth $14.95."

I fell for that shipping bullshit the other day. Couldn't figure out why I was overdrawn, when I had just bought a $40 item, and my bank account still had $90 in it when I did so. Come to find out, the $40 item had a $35 shipping fee. Somebody's getting a shitty review on eBay.

@LordShadowfire See plenty of them, from shirts to gear (I like the outdoors, so I'm on newsletters). It always ends up like that. $50 value this, $75 value that. "Only $10? What a steal- wait, with $30 shipping?"

@Magnolia21 The worst part is, it's not illegal. They tell you the shipping cost if you're paying attention.
