What makes someone weak? What makes someone strong?

My definition of weak is someone who generally and genuinely believes that they cannot get what they want out of life. A strong person is someone who generally and genuinely believes they can get what they want out of life. Do you think this definition is too simplistic?

There's just a lot of aspect to it, one that comes to mind : who when faced with problems will do their best to deal with it and solve it and will only seek help after all of their attempts fail. After all imo strength is also if you know when to ask for help.

@Nanori i agree. I dont think asking for help makes one weak. If you're asking for help then you must at least want to succeed. Otherwise there'd be no point.
