I think Muslim countries have low suicide rates in general because those adherent to Islam fear the afterlife consequences of going straight to hell. For many though it's the social construction, because the family support is very strong. Most come from large families and rarely feel lonely in the true sense of the word.

@SW-User Doesn't Christianity and Hinduism too have consequences? Christianity definitely mentions about going to hell, where as Hinduism encodes bad deeds in the form karma effect. Is family support the major factor according to you?

I think family really plays a big role. Definitely among the very first reasons one would re-consider such a step. @SW-User
