Why do all Asians ( East Asians , Indians , Arabs etc..) all have the same mindset about their child’s future career ?

1- doctor 2- engineer/lawyer 3- disgrace to the family

I'm Asian. My parents didn't care what we wanted to study and didn't care what job we got. It's "as long as we're happy."
