@TexChik ammo; factory loads are pretty inconsistent in velocity/powder, bullet seating, crimp, etc. compared to hand loads

@wildbill83 semiautos, carry weapons. We have a couple of Colt Python .357s that are dead on accurate. Just a bit big for my purse. I know you hate Glocks but that is what I carry. A G23 (.40) double stack midsize. The aftermarket trigger I had put in did the trick for my accuracy issues.

@TexChik if it has no external hammer, it's double action only; if it has hammer and can be fired first shot without cocking hammer, it's a DA/SA (i.e. Sig with decocker); 1911's are single action

DA's all have heavy triggers (to prevent misfire; good for safety, but poor for accuracy); SA triggers are lighter with considerably smaller length of pull.

@TexChik They are right! I went and tried his on a hog hunt and I was hooked! It was very easy to carry through the swamps and the perfect for my size, it had the shortest barrel they are allowed to have.

Hit a hog 50 yards out!
