Is it bad to be a "fence sitter"?

In an issue

When you refuse to absolutely pick a side.

Or the way I see it, trying to see multiple perspectives from either side of an argument.

I would think it's a good quality but I think also it pisses some people off

I think it’s both… spoken from a fence sitter perspective. ☺️

I generally can see both sides of an argument, even if I don’t agree with one or the other. I remember getting yelled at by my high school history teacher to ‘just pick a side and quit sitting on the fence.’ 🤷🏻‍♀️

It’s good in the way that you can see the actual issue more objectively. At the same time, you’re absolutely right about it making some people mad.

@QueenOfTheNerds true. Things like history and politics (i hate politics) are so nuanced that it's hard to determine things.
