Yes we even had them in Canada at one point
@Jenny1234 Woah, did you really ? I didn’t know they’d made it to Canada. 😄
Jenny1234 · 56-60, F
@bijouxbroussard we used to stop off at one for groceries on the way to my uncle’s cottage in New Brunswick. That was the seventies. I don’t think there was one where I lived in Montreal or toronto

Oh yeah. LOL

@SW-User Originally from Michigan but I spent a bunch of time in Florida.
That's where I saw Piggly Wiggly. LOL

Born and raised in MI?
@Dainbramadge

@SW-User Yes. Then when I was 19 I moved to Florida to work with a family friend.
We traveled all over the east cost. I don't think there is a state east of Debuke ( Or however you spell it) Iowa that I haven't spent at least a few weeks in.

Yes, they are usually only in rural areas
Yes, that's where you shop to buy your grits and the other ingredients to make 'hush puppies' with. Cute huh 😉

Yes! They were a much larger chain. I remember going in there with my mom as a little girl.

Sure is and one town over from where I live.
I've seen and can attest to its existence.

Yes, it is. I have seen them.
SW-User
Oh, yes, mostly in Southern states. There were a couple in Georgia where I went to college.
