I didn't know that statue of Liberty 馃椊 used to be all gold. It turned green overtime from the oxygen.

The dome on the capital building in state of Wyoming is, or at least was, gold covered. In fact that use to be quite common decades ago in many states.

As to the statue of liberty, I believe it was copper. Copper is notorious for turning green. Gold doesn't turn green and why gold is used for wedding rings. Never copper, because your finger turns green as well.

@ScarletWitch copper color and gold color are similar though.

Just not the green color that comes from copper rather than gold! 馃檭馃槇馃榿
